"LOU GEHRIG and ALS: A Caregiver's Story"
Attendees of the National Network's recent "Rays of Hope" conference in Orlando, FL, were fortunate to hear Mr. Ben Sullivan ("Sully") deliver a very moving presentation entitled "Lou Gehrig and ALS: A Caregiver's Story." Sully was the primary caregiver for his single mother, who was diagosed with ALS, through four years of his adolescence. Response to Sully's presentation at "Rays of Hope" was so great that the National Network would like to share his story publicly. Mr. Paul Jellinek, author of "Promise to Mary" and member of the Faith in Action National Network's Board of Directors, comments that, "It was a brilliant and profoundly moving presentation by an exceptionally talented young man."
